How the SGIX Remote Peering Works with DCConnect

The SGIX Remote Peering solution with DCConnect simplifies establishing a peering connection. It starts with the customer filling out a request form specifying their peering needs, such as port size, VLAN range, and BGP policies. DCConnect reviews this request and then notifies SGIX to begin service provisioning. SGIX sets up the necessary configurations, including allocating a 100G port at either Equinix SG1 or Global Switch, and configures the VLAN ranges and BGP policies. After rigorous testing by both DCConnect and SGIX to ensure stability and performance, the customer is informed that their peering service is live.
